Forum 2018 Programme is ready!

AGEING WELL IN THE DIGITAL AGE: A growing community of change makers

The AAL Forum is the annual event that drives the digital transformation of health and social inclusion in our ageing population – all with your help.  And this year we want to bring together even more of our growing community, who are actively striving to make change happen by helping to deliver technology that will improve quality of life for older people.

Hosted in the beautiful city of Bilbao in the spectacular Biscay region, Spain, the Forum will provide a platform for debate, collaboration and networking. The Forum will also include an exciting exhibition of the technological advances we are making across Europe and in the region, as well as showcase Biscay county council’s strategy on social and territorial cohesion, a policy which promotes Biscay as a region for all ages.

The Forum is also the place to do business, either as an investor looking to find the next big thing, as a company or research project looking to get your product to market or as an end user hoping to use better services and a more cost-effective price. At this year’s Forum we will be bringing together the perfect blend of stakeholders, from the municipalities, provinces and regions as well as health and social care providers from across Europe to exchange ideas with and learn from SMEs, industry and the research community who are today conceiving the digital technology that will be part of all our lives tomorrow.
