The most important activity of the AAL Joint Programme is the regular publication of calls for proposals for research and development projects in the topcial domain of Ambient Assisted Living.

Each call will be published with guidance information on the call topic and budget, call publication dates and additional information, as e.g. the applied funding rules.

Proposals have to be submitted via a central proposal submission tool which is made available with each call. Proposers will find funding templates for participating funding organisation and each eligible type of organisation. In addition, a structured proposal description has to be uploaded.

Only successful proposers from the AAL Partner States (see here for conditions of participation) can expect funding under the AAL Joint Programme. However, as national funding rules are applied, not all types of organisations may profit from funding. This information is published with the call - nevertheless is it highly recommended to contact the AAL National Contact Persons for funding details.

Besides AAL Calls for Proposals, the AAL Joint Programme conducts accompanying activities. At this moment, accompanying activities consist of events or workshops.
