AAL Call 2018 – Statistics Report on submitted proposals
This report presents some statistics on the proposals submitted in the framework of the fifth call of the 2nd phase of the AAL Programmes entitled “Smart solutions for Ageing Well”.
The call deadline was on May 28th 2018 with an indicative total funding of 28,529,868€ that was committed by 21 national funding authorities from 16 AAL Partner States and the European Commission.
For the first time, the call allows for more flexibility regarding the scope, size and duration of the submitted projects by including a new type of instrument, namely the “small collaborative project”. Consequently, two type of projects will be funded under this call: “collaborative projects” and “small collaborative projects”. In total, 73 proposals were submitted: 48 collaborative projects and 25 small collaborative projects.
Below is an overview on the numbers (in terms of participants, geographical origin and funding) on the 73 received proposals, on the collaborative projects as well as on the small collaborative projects. A more intensive report, with the statistics and numbers of the funded projects after the evaluation, will be produced and published in the last quarter of 2018.
