Business development methodology

AAL2Business helping towards successful commercialization – workshop in Brussels provides our projects with insights about business models

Brussels, 15 April 2014 – Organized as a side-event of the AAL info day, the business development methodology workshop offered an opportunity for AAL project partners to get acquainted  and share their experiences about business models and value proposition design. Started with a practice-oriented introduction to  methods development, the workshop focused heavily on “hands-on” work in small groups.

During the workshop different project partners experienced the use of  methods development for business cases of three companies, which were most eager to get external feedback for their development. Together with the participants, these three cases were analysed in more detail in a structured workshop exercise, providing the case companies with more valuable insights from other AAL project partners. The first feedbacks of the workshop are very positive from the participants. Participants said they felt learnt a lot from the workshop and continue to use learned methods in business development activities in the future.

What did they say:

“It was interesting, valuable and lead us to improve our business model”
“Its a complex process but so important. I think the workshop could be made as mandatory 2 hour webinar for all AAL project partners in Q1, Q5 and at end.”
