AAL Award 2013

The Finalists

The AAL Award 2013 is in its third edition and also this year it will nominate the best project of the AAL joint programme.

This award is intended to recognize the most promising project that demonstrates great promise in terms of innovation, human-centric approaches to development and market potential. Nineteen projects participated to the eliminatory phase and presented their peculiarities to a panel of experts. The finalists of the 2013 edition are: iWalkActive, Mobile Sage and Connected Vitality.

 

The competition will take place during the AAL Forum 2013 on 26 September between 11 and 12.30 AM (third plenary sessions) at the Louis De Geer Konsert & Kongress Norrköping, Sweden. The programme of the presentations is structured as follows:

 

1) 6 minutes to make a pitch which can involve slides, video, and demonstration;

2) 6 minutes of Q&A with the panel;

3) 6 minutes of Q&A with the audience;

 

We have introduced a new feature in the prize of this year as we are planning to have a form of audience voting. Nevertheless the final decision on the winner will be taken by the evaluation panel.
