AAL Regional workshop

The presentations

This workshop was organized within the framework of the EIP Summit and aimed at introducing the AAL Programme 2015 call for proposals and to offer visibility to some success cases of AAL solutions implemented at regional level in Europe. The regional participation in AAL projects was presented via a specific regional angle with the intention to open a real exchange of knowledge among regional players across Europe.  What are advantages of participating in an AAL project? What are the pitfalls and lessons learned? Is there enough evidence coming from the projects showing that the ICT solutions are truly benefitting the users from a public perspective? Are they replicable and scalable in other realities? These are some of the questions we will try to address during these two hours of interactive workshop. Along with the 2015 AAL call, four field cases were presented as well as four major regional networks: Assembly of European Regions, ERRIN, Coral and CCRE.
