AAL Programme opens its new call for workshop proposals
The AAL Programme is excited to announce its latest call for workshop proposals, with a submission deadline of August 29th, 2025, at 17:00 CEST.
So, if you’re passionate about fostering the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences – both within the AAL community and beyond – this is your chance to share your ideas and lead the conversation.
The new call is part of AAL’s ongoing commitment to deepen insights and promote discussion around key AAL-related topics that matter to you. By hosting a workshop, you’ll help create a space for dialogue and learning that benefits everyone involved – AAL partners and all relevant stakeholders. As such, an element of knowledge exchange and peer learning is important to include.
The focus
While the topic choice for workshops is open, proposals focusing on Ecosystems, in line with the theme of the most recent AAL calls, are especially encouraged. Other topics of interest might include:
- Entering private and/or public markets
- Implementing digital solutions in organisations
- Financing start-ups and scale-ups
- Value assessment and reimbursement of digital care and support
- Ethical aspects of digital (care) solutions
- Certification of digital solutions
Who can apply
The call is open to all current and former AAL project partners. You don’t need to deliver the workshop yourself, you can bring in external experts, but the selected AAL partner will be responsible for leading the organisation and promotion of the workshop, with AAL offering support where needed.
What support is available
AAL has budget available to cover costs like catering, technical aspects, venue hire and workshop leaders or moderators. In your proposal, please specify how much support you are requesting and what it will be used for.
When and how?
Workshops should be planned to take place in late 2025, starting in September. They can be held online, as hybrid events, or in-person, preferably in English to reach as wide an audience as possible, although other languages may be considered if appropriate for the target group.
If your proposal is selected, you’ll need to submit a short report after the workshop, using the template provided in the application form.
