The Health Valley Event 2022 is approaching fast! The annual event taking place from 15-17 March 2022 will gather many experts all across Europe to exchange and discuss this year’s challenge:

Concrete contributions towards a Healthy Ageing decade – latest trends and practical examples of workable solutions.
We are living longer than ever before. In the past decade society has taken a leap forward in becoming more aware of the challenges & opportunities that come with an ageing population and has started to address them. The Active Assisted Living AAL Programme has been at the forefront of these efforts in Europe. This session will provide an engaging perspective on this emerging Ageing Well/AgeTech sector followed by some concrete AAL contributions to its market development with examples from three different countries.

European collaboration for ageing well
Taking inspiration from the Green Paper on Ageing by the European Commission from 2021, which endorses a life course approach for ageing, this workshop will look into different ageing well domains for an ageing European population. The exchange with the participants will bring in learnings from the Health Valley event, in order to use for building the work agenda for the ‘European Week of Active & Healthy Ageing 2022’ in Gdansk from October 18-20, 2022.
